I own a 1985 MR2 since 1998. I live in Milton Ontario Canada. This car was my daily driver for about 7 years (including winters), over this period of time the car has not become boring but the opposite is true.
This car is no longer my daily driver! Now that God has blessed me with financial stability, I am planning to upgrade this car for it to receive the toy status.
It is my desire to build the ultimate MR2 TT. Yeah I just made that up. TT stands for track & touring. I want to build it with every comfort features good for cross country touring while being fast enough to hit the tracks on the weekend.
The build will include an engine swap, T-Roof conversion, brakes, suspension, A/C, Cruise, Power Windows & Locks etc.
MR2 owners are one of the nicest automotive community I have come to know. I am hoping to receive tremendous support to help me with this build project.
In the future, as time permits, I’ll make it possible for this site to open doors for other MR2 (MK1 & 2) owners to feature their projects and be able to operate their own web sites with sub-domains like bob.mr2.co
